Sarah Freeman

Sarah is a registered Occupational Therapist having worked across both government and private sectors in both Australian and the UK with over 8 years experience in the field of Occupational Rehabilitation, assisting claimants across many industries with their recovery at work and return to independence following injury at work or in a motor vehicle accident. Sarah also has experience with NDIS.

Sarah has over 20 years experience as an Occupational Therapist. Having completed a B. App. Sc. (Occupational Therapy) at Sydney University in 1993, Sarah initially worked in Mental Health in the UK, including acute, rehabilitation and aged care mental health services. She then managed a Day Centre for WWII and Vietnam Veterans before progressing into working in Occupational Rehabilitation in 2000. Within Occupational Rehabilitation Sarah has worked as both a rehabilitation provider and a Return to Work Coordinator within Health.

Sarah completed a Graduate Certificate in OHS in 2010 and worked as a Work Health Safety Coordinator for 6 years before becoming Manager of Workplace Safety and Wellbeing at the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, managing Recovery at Work, WHS and Staff Wellbeing.

Sarah has a passion for safety, wellbeing and injury prevention as well as rehabilitation and is client centred while using evidence based treatment to work towards a sustainable recovery. When she isn’t working she is at home trying to keep order and parent her three boys.
